The re-elected City Council members were sworn in during a ceremony at Mount Si Senior Center, setting the stage for the upcoming four years. “Congratulations and thank you for volunteering your time and energy for the betterment of our city,” Mayor Hearing said. “On behalf of myself and fellow staff members, we look forward to working with you in 2018.”

Gothelf was selected by his peers and will serve as Mayor Pro Tem for the next year.

"I am very proud of the support I received from both my fellow council members and the public in my re-election," Gothelf said. "I look forward to continuing my work for the City and Eastside Fire and Rescue."
