More than 40 people attended an open house to learn about plans for the future Tennant Trailhead Park on Wednesday, January 24 at the North Bend Train Depot. Citizens were encouraged to share their ideas for amenities and features for the 32-acre park at the foothills of Rattlesnake Mountain.

Suggestions included natural fitness stations, picnic area, bike and hiking trails, ADA path, boardwalks and a zip line.

The land has been preserved for recreation and education with a partnership between the City of North Bend, Si View Metropolitan Park District, King County and the Trust for Public Land.
