Upcoming Travel Impacts for I-90

Forwarded on behalf of Washington State Department of Transportation:

I-90 Construction Schedule

Washington State Department of Transportation implemented a westbound detour on Wednesday, June 6, which split the westbound lanes from the summit of Snoqualmie Pass down to the Denny Creek area. Due to this detour, the eastbound lanes will be reduced to two lanes from North Bend to the summit 24/7 until mid-August until they the project is complete. This will cause delays and back-ups for drivers headed eastbound on Fridays and congestion and back-ups westbound on Sundays.

The westbound traffic shift between the summit and Denny Creek will go into effect next Tuesday. This is the shift that will take one lane down the eastbound side and the other lane will continue down the westbound side so that crews can continue working on repairing the bridge deck. This will cause impacts for drivers in both directions – those going eastbound on Fridays and those going westbound on Sundays. Below is the schedule.
