Citizens Academy

The North Bend Citizens Academy is returning this winter, beginning Monday, February 5, 2024!

Now in its second year, this free, eight-week interactive course is designed to provide an in-depth look into how your local municipal government operates, guiding participants through administration and city history, legal, public records and information, finance, fire, police, public works and infrastructure, parks, and community and economic development.

Sessions will be held weekly, and will include a parks tour, a Snoqualmie Police Department tour, and a Wastewater Treatment Plant tour.

This free program is open to locals who are 16 and older. Class size is limited to the first 15 applicants.

How to Apply

Applications are being accepted through January 16, and classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
