The City of North Bend owns and operates a municipal water system that serves a majority of the city as well as a portion of the surrounding rural community. Residents in the eastern part of town which encompasses the Tanner and Truck Town areas are served by Sallal Water Association.
The city’s sewer system historically served a relatively small population close to the downtown area. The recent Utility Local Improvement District No. 6 expansion resulted in sewer service being extended into the Tanner and Truck Town areas. Approximately 2,370 residents are currently served by the city’s wastewater collection system.
