City Invites Residents to Participate in the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day on April 22nd

April 22, 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, the global movement to help protect our planet and people. To celebrate this momentous occasion, while adhering to safety measures during the COVID-19 pandemic, City of North Bend would like to invite our community members to join the movement by cleaning up around your own yard and outside your home, including picking up litter that may be on the street in front of your homes.

We would also like to encourage you to take photos of your efforts in a show of community solidarity and submit them to Communications Manager, Jill Green, to post on our Facebook page. Let’s get out and do something fun and meaningful to help our planet.

Submit your photos to jgreen@northbendwa.gov.

We thank you for helping to save our planet. To learn more, visit: https://www.earthday.org/.
