Emergency Repair Work on Eastbound I-90 at Stampede Pass Interchange Will Cause Delays

Forwarded on behalf of Washington State Department of Transportation

Eastbound I-90 at Stampede Pass Interchange (milepost 62 to 63), ten miles east of Snoqualmie summit, is reduced to a single-lane until further notice. Drivers will experience significant backups and delays over the weekend.

An emergency repair project scheduled for this fall has been accelerated to repair broken concrete panels under the overpass. WSDOT and contractor crews will maintain full access to the highway at all times but there will be backups and detours during construction. The estimated time to complete repairs and reopen the right lane is unknown.
