New Public Information Officer / Communications Manager to join the City of North Bend

The City of North Bend is pleased to announce that Danna McCall has accepted the position of Public Information Officer/Communications Manager with the City of North Bend.

Danna holds a Communications/Public Relations degree from the University of Washington. She launched the Living Snoqualmie website in 2010, serving as editor and writer, while also raising four children to adulthood.

She currently serves on the SnoValley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She has also recently worked in social media marketing management for local companies Acceptiva and Papersalt.

While living in Snoqualmie for the past two decades, Danna has volunteered as a Snoqualmie Parks Board member and on multiple, local community campaigns. She performed public relations, social media marketing and website development roles for the 2006 Snoqualmie Community Center campaign, Carolyn Simpson’s 2011 School Board campaign, and the 2015 Snoqualmie Valley School District Capital Bond campaign.

Danna has been married for 25 years and has four adult-aged children.

“Now that my children are grown, I’m excited for this new, full-time career opportunity with the City of North Bend,” said Danna. “My goal is to serve as a vital bridge between residents, city administrators and councilmembers. I look forward to hearing ideas and implementing strategies to further expand communications between the city and its citizens.”

Danna will start with the City in September 2020.
