Two-week North Bend Way Overnight Lane Closure starts January 12th

ENB Way project

On Tuesday, January 12, 2021, Puget Sound Energy (PSE) continued work to underground overhead power and communication lines along a section of E. North Bend Way near the new Park Street roundabout.

Construction will occur on between the North Bend Motel and QFC. The utility work will occur during overnight hours, between 9PM and 6AM, and last approximately two weeks.

PSE crews are utilizing overnight hours for this work to avoid significant traffic impacts.

A detour will be set up along Park Street due to the required closure of the westbound exit lane of the roundabout.  This North Bend Way lane closure and detour will only be in place during overnight work hours.

Due to the January 13th windstorm, crews were call from the North Bend job site to assist with the extensive power outages around the region. Because of the unforeseen delay, the utility undergrounding work is expected to be complete on January 29th.
