After nearly a month of very limited Covid-19 vaccine shipments from the state, Snoqualmie Valley Hospital received good news that the Department of Health had approved a shipment of 2,000 vaccine first doses.
The large vaccine shipment will allow Snoqualmie Valley Hospital, in partnership with the Snoqualmie Fire Department, to host its first mass vaccination clinic on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 8:30AM to 4:30PM. The hospital is located at 9801 Frontier Ave SE in Snoqualmie.
People eligible for the vaccine can schedule online appointments at https://www.solvhealth.com/book-online/A4yalp.
On March 17th, the state moved to Vaccination Phase 1B Tier 2. To see if you are eligible visit FindYourPhaseWA.org
Snoqualmie Valley Hospital, the Snoqualmie Fire Department and local city officials have been planning for a mass vaccination clinic for more than a month, preparing to get thousands of shots in the arms of Snoqualmie Valley residents.
“I am truly excited that Snoqualmie Valley Hospital has received enough vaccines that we can offer a mass vaccination event for our community,” said SVH Chief Executive Office Renee Jensen. “Not only do we have the honor of supporting our community during the pandemic, but we have the honor of partnering with Snoqualmie Fire Department and local city officials. Their support, coordination efforts and volunteers are making this event possible.”
In December, Snoqualmie Valley Hospital constructed a second outbuilding nicknamed “The Barn” to provide COVID testing in the mornings and COVID vaccines in the afternoons. Open five days each week from 7:30AM to 6PM, the Barn has seen steady traffic since opening on Christmas Eve. Since December, the hospital has provided almost 4,500 vaccines and since March 2020, the team has performed more than 11,000 COVID-19.
