PSE assistance prgram

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) recently created a new COVID Bill Assistance Program, designed to help qualified customers facing financial struggle pay their utility bills.

Since launching the program in late April, PSE has distributed over $9 million directly to its customers to reduce or eliminate outstanding balances.

PSE’s COVID Bill Assistance Program offers:

  • Up to $2,500 in additional utility bill payment assistance.
  • Up to $2,500 to forgive past balances for customers who received energy assistance in the past.
  • Extended payment plans up to 18 months.
  • The option to change your energy bill’s due date to help with monthly budgeting.

PSE Local Government Affairs & Policy Manager David Hoffman commented, “PSE is committed to being a trusted community partner and doing whatever it takes to get our Puget Sound Energy families through this challenging time. In 2020, we made over $9 million in bill assistance available to over 15,000 customers, and now we’re ready to do even more.”

North Bend residents in need of financial assistance can access additional information about PSE’s COVID Bill Assistance Program, including qualification requirements and applications, by visiting www.pse.com/assistance.
