In an effort to be a Wildfire Resilient Community, the City of North Bend is currently working to reduce wildfire risks via resident education and mitigation methods - like property and landscape maintenance - that help create defensible spaces around a home and/or business perimeter. A quick reminder that Eastside Fire & Rescue has issued its annual Burn Moratorium that runs from June 15th through September 30th. Recreational fires are not recommended at this time due to the extreme dry weather in our area and no rain in site. However, if you are going to have a recreational fire, it is more important than ever to use safety precautions.

RESIDENTIAL BURNING OF MATERIAL ORIGINATING ON ONE’S PROPERTY IS CURRENTLY BANNED IN KING COUNTY.
