The City of North Bend has cancelled the final date – Saturday, October 16th – of the 2021 Yard Waste Recycling Program due to budget constraints of the annual program funded by King County.
With this October 16th cancellation, Saturday, September 18th will now be the final Yard Waste event of the year.
The 2021 North Bend Yard Waste Recycling Program began on April 17th and has operated 1-2 Saturdays per month. The free program is open to North Bend residents and property owners on select Saturdays, April – October, from 8AM to 12PM at the North Bend Public Works building, 1155 E. North Bend Way.
Accepted yard waste items include grass clippings, leaves, weeds and branches and limbs up to 3 inches in diameter and up to 3 feet long. The program cannot accept large branches, sod, dirt, rocks, concrete, asphalt, wood, stumps, trash, construction debris, manure, or plastic bags.
Curbside yard waste collection is also included with residents’ solid waste/recycling service provided by Republic Services. For curbside yard waste questions, please call Republic Services at 425.392.6651.
