This old-fashioned holiday festival includes a live stage, firepits with marshmallow roasting and smores fixings, visits with Santa, and of course, the lighting of the community tree with Mayor Rob. The tree lighting will be streamed live on the City’s Facebook page for those who cannot make it in person.

U.S. Representative Kim Schrier visited North Bend and was given a guided tour of the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), which is currently in phase 2 of a major modernization project. The multi-year WWTP High Priorities Improvement Project is a long-term investment in the City’s critical infrastructure. When complete, the project will increase redundancy, decrease plant odor, double treatment capacity, improve employee safety, and comply with stricter State environmental requirements that protect the Snoqualmie River.

Valley Center Stage's, A Christmas Carol

Valley Center Stage’s production of a Christmas Carol launches this weekend and runs Friday, Saturday, Sunday, December 3 – 19. Dickens' holiday classic tells a story of second chances, transformation, forgiveness, and compassion. Opening night is today, Dec. 3 at 7:30 PM. Click linked headline for tickets and more info.

Si View Metro Parks Holiday Bazaar

Si View Metro Parks' Holiday Bazaar is back. Join them for an indoor fair, featuring talented artisans with locally handmade goods, perfect for gift giving. They've taken safety precautions by spacing out vendor booths to minimize crowding, and while live entertainment won't be a part of the program this year, you can count on cheery holiday tunes throughout the day. They'll also be raffling off gorgeous gift baskets with items donated by their vendors. Admission to this event is free. Statewide mask mandate and King County vaccine verification order are in effect for indoor programs and at Si View facilities.

Santa Breakfast at Moose Lodge, December 12th

The Snoqualmie Valley Moose Lodge, 108 Sydney Ave N,  will host a Santa Breakfast on Dec. 12th at 9AM. It’s open to all. Free photos with a Santa background and a delicious, holiday-inspired breakfast. Donations will be accepted, but this breakfast is free to attend.

City Snowplow Route Map Updated

In preparation for the 2021-22 winter season, the City has updated its Snowplow Route Map, which includes new neighborhoods and streets. The map identifies Priority 1, 2, and 3 snowplow routes throughout the City limits, as well as priority access point locations. During snow events, Public Works crews focus first on Priority 1 roads. When treatment of those roads is complete, crews then move to Priority 2 roads and follow the same protocol before moving to priority 3 roads.

Traffic Alert: Small section of 436th Ave Closed for Roundabout Construction

A  small section of 436th Ave SE - between SE Cedar Falls Way and SE North Bend Way – is closed for multiple weeks as crews continue work on a privately-funded roundabout at the intersection of North Bend Way and 436th. This work is weather dependent and subject to change. Detour routes are marked along North Bend Way and Cedar Falls Way in the project area. Local access for residents of 436th Ave SE will be provided.
