Ribary Creek Flood Risk Reduction Project Expected to Begin in April
The King County Flood Control District and City of North Bend have entered into an Interlocal Agreement to begin design for the Ribary Creek Flood Risk Reduction Project. The Creek’s proximity to homes and local businesses makes this particular location a high priority for flood risk reduction work in North Bend.
State Rep. Lisa Callan Collaborates with Cities to Secure Funding for Behavioral Health Coordinator
Grant funding has been secured, thanks to State Rep. Lisa Callan, for a Behavioral Health Coordinator in North Bend and Snoqualmie. This professional will work directly with and accompany police officers, as well as firefighters and EMTs, when responding to crisis calls involving people with behavioral health crises.

Seeking Applicants for Vacancies on Planning Commission
The City of North Bend is seeking applicants for multiple vacancies on the Planning Commission, terms expiring May 18, 2024 or May 18, 2026. The Commission is an advisory body to the City Council that prepares and recommends coordinated plans, regulations, and restrictions for the physical development of the City.
