Last Chance to Apply to Fill Current Vacancies on Planning Commission!

The City of North Bend is seeking applicants for multiple vacancies on the Planning Commission, terms expiring May 18th, 2024 or May 18th, 2026. The Commission is an advisory body to the City Council that prepares and recommends coordinated plans, regulations, and restrictions for the physical development of the City. Applications must be received by Friday, April 8th.

Washington State Department of Commerce Shares Smart Communities Award Video for North Bend

In October, Gov. Inslee and the Washington State Dept. of Commerce (COM) honored the City of North Bend with the Smart Project Award for the adoption of Form-Based Code. Mayor McFarland and CED Director, Rebecca Deming share insight via a tour of the downtown through a video created by COM. Watch the video HERE.

In honor of Earth Day, the City invites community members to join us for our second North Bend Beautification Days on April 22nd and 23rd.

Spring Food Trucks at Si View Park are back!

Si View Metro Parks brought back their weekly Food Truck event, every Thursday, April 7th through June 2nd, located at Si View Park.

City and Snoqualmie Valley School District Collaborate with Water Conservation Education

Nature Vision, part of the City's Saving Water Partnership, is a series of free water conservation classroom presentations supporting K through 8th grade students. North Bend Elementary is introducing Nature Vision to students this spring.

Mark Your Calendar: April 23rd Yard Waste Recycling Program

The 2022 North Bend Yard Waste Recycling program begins April 23rd. This annual recycling program is open to North Bend residents and property owners on select Saturdays, April through October, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the North Bend Public Works building, located at 1155 E. North Bend Way.
