The Festival at Mt. Si Kicks Off Saturday, August 13th: The annual, historic Festival at Mt. Si is returning to North Bend after a two-year hiatus on Saturday, August 13th and Sunday, August 14th. Festival activities include the Grand Parade and the Kiddie Parade, a kid zone, pickleball, the Alpine Days 5k Fun Run, live music, a vendor fair, traditional community contests and more. Happy National Farmers Market Week: This week was National Farmers Market Week, and Si View Metro Parks’ North Bend Farmers Market was packed with fresh produce, crafts, live music and community! Stop by Si View Park and support your local farmers, vendors, musicians and nonprofit organizations on Thursdays, from 4 to 8 p.m., with the Summer Concert stage running 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Stage 1 of the North Bend Water Conservation Ordinance Begins Monday, August 15th:  The City of North Bend is actively pursuing water conservation in a variety of ways: through ongoing distribution system leak reduction efforts, customer conservation education, installation of replacement watermains and starting in 2020, the Water Conservation Ordinance (WCO). The WCO is now three years old. For some, this ordinance is an anticipated seasonal practice in our community, and for others, the WCO is new and as a participant, we understand new residents want to ensure they have all the information they need to join in water conservation efforts. Click the linked headline to learn more about Stage 1 of the WCO.

Meet up with the Mayor: Residents enjoyed coffee and treats on Wednesday at Vintage Baristas/Pioneer Coffee in Downtown North Bend. Have a topic you'd like to chat about? Join us at the next Meet up with the Mayor on Weds, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. Stay tuned for the next location!

August 16th North Bend City Council Meeting:  The community is invited to join City staff and elected officials for the in-person/hybrid August 16th City Council meeting at 7 p.m., located at North Bend City Hall: 920 SE Cedar Falls Way.
