Traffic Alert: Westbound I-90 Repairs Near North Bend Begin September 11th: In September, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) begins a series of transportation improvement projects, one of which addresses rough freeway conditions on Interstate 90 (I-90), east of Issaquah, between Highlands Drive Northeast and just west of Southeast High Point Way.
North Bend City Council Joined Groundbreaking Ceremony for the I-90/SR 18 Interchange Project: This week, North Bend City Council and staff joined WSDOT, the Snoqualmie Tribe, elected officials, and other local partners as they broke ground on the I-90/SR 18 interchange project! Work will include construction of a diverging diamond interchange, the addition of two lanes between the interchange and Deep Creek, constructing three new bridges as well as fish passage work. Mayor Pro Tem Proclaims September Suicide Prevention Awareness Month in North Bend: Mayor Pro Tem Jonathan Rosen is proud to proclaim September as Suicide Prevention Awareness Month in North Bend. Empower Youth Network, a Snoqualmie-Valley based nonprofit organization with a mission to promote and inspire youth to lead safe, healthy, and successful lives, incorporates suicide prevention programs in its work.

Seeking Input: 2022 City Parks Survey: The City of North Bend invites residents to help plan for future park and trail improvements! The invitation is part of the early stages of commencing an update to the Parks Element of the City’s Comprehensive Plan. The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and will help plan for park and trail improvements that best reflect the needs and desires of residents. Responses are due by October 1st.
