Trail run brings participants to Downtown North Bend, September 25th

Route Map, Mt Si Hill Climb

On Sunday, September 25th, residents may notice participants of the Mt. Si Hill Climb Trail Run in downtown North Bend. The event runs from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m., which includes time for set-up and take-down.

Approximately 150 runners are expected at the event that will utilize City sidewalks in the vicinity of West Second Street and Main Avenue North. The Mt. Si Hill Climb will start and finish at Pro Ski and Mountain Service, located at 112 West Second Street.   The route takes runners from West Second Street to Main Avenue North and then follows the Snoqualmie Valley Trail and the Mount Si Trail systems.  [See Route Map below.]

The event does not include any city street closures, only the use of sidewalks and associated crosswalks until participants reach the trail system. The trails will remain open to other users during the event.

Coordinators are looking forward to offering another fun outdoor event that promotes a healthy lifestyle. The run is being hosted by Pro Ski and Mountain Service and coordinated by Evergreen Trail Runs. Volition Brewing Co. is collaborating as well by hosting the event’s after-race beer garden.

In addition, Evergreen Trail Runs is offering a free kid’s race component, where parents are welcome to run with their children. More information can be found on their website,
