  • North Bend Way, between Bendigo Boulevard and Ballarat Avenue
  • Main Avenue South, between McClellan Street and 107 Main Avenue North

The community is invited to join City staff and elected officials for the July 18 City Council meeting at 7 p.m., located at North Bend City Hall: 920 SE Cedar Falls Way. Topics include:

  • A Motion authorizing a lease with the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife
  • A Motion authorizing the purchase of a street sweeper

Last day to provide input on the Complete Streets Corridor Plan for North Bend Way: Right now, pedestrians and cyclists have limited accommodations along North Bend Way, with sidewalks and the Tanner Trail being limited to central segments of the corridor. Pedestrians accessing Tollgate Farm Park from downtown commonly walk along the wide shoulder of North Bend Way. The Complete Streets approach creates an integrated transportation network that is accessible to people of all ages and abilities. Take the survey HERE. The survey will be closed by July 15.

Got yard waste? The Yardwaste Recycling event returns on Saturday: Please bring it over to the North Bend Public Works Department on Saturday (July 15) for the Yardwaste Recycling Program! From 8 to 12 p.m., unload your grass clippings, leaves, weeds, and branches (limbs up to 3" in diameter, and up to 3' long) at the North Bend Public Works Department.

You’re invited to Eastside Fire and Rescue’s Push-in Ceremony on Monday: This year, ESF-R purchased a new aid vehicle with grant funding secured by the Snoqualmie Tribe and ESF-R through the Indian Community Development Block Grant – American Rescue Plan Act, and on July 17 at 11:30 a.m., they invite the community to join them as they celebrate at the North Bend Fire Station 87! A push-in ceremony is a traditional inauguration event held when a fire department receives a new apparatus. Fire Station 87 is located at 500 Maloney Grove SE.

Learn about North Bend’s history with the Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum on Wednesday: Whether you are new to town, or your family roots go way back in North Bend, the Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum's presentation on North Bend's history is both interesting and informative. Join Assistant Director Cristy Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, at the North Bend Library for this free, all-ages event.

Roadwork scheduled for on SR 18 between I-90 and Issaquah-Hobart Road next weekend: Both directions of State Route 18 will close for annual maintenance the weekend of July 21 through 23. Beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, July 21, through 12 p.m. Sunday, July 23, SR 18 will close to eastbound and westbound traffic between Interstate 90 near Snoqualmie and Issaquah-Hobart Road Southeast in Hobart.
