The Snoqualmie-North Bend Police Department is pleased to bring its National Night Out event back to the Snoqualmie Valley community on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Snoqualmie Community Park.
National Night Out is a community-police awareness-raising event held in cities across the United States the first Tuesday of August. The event is designed to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement, as well as community spirit.
After being on hold for a few years due to the pandemic, the Snoqualmie Police Dept. is re-launching its National Night Out event in a big way, including live music, a dunk tank, a magic show, bouncy houses, face painting, balloon animals, hot dogs, ice cream, and more.
North Bend and Snoqualmie residents are invited to join their SnoPo officers, neighbors, and City staff for an exciting evening of family fun and neighborly spirit. Snoqualmie Community Park is located at 35016 SE Ridge Street.
Interim Police Chief Brian Lynch said, “The entire department is excited for this event, and in the spirit of fun, I’ve even volunteered to sit in the dunk tank. National Night Out is a great chance for our officers to connect with the community and for residents to learn about Snoqualmie Police Dept. programs that keep North Bend and Snoqualmie safe.”
