Missing local man found deceased

Snoqualmie-North Bend Police, with the assistance of the King County Sheriff’s Office and Search and Rescue, have located Mohamed Ibrahim who had been missing since August 15, 2023. Acting on information obtained from a citizen, Search and Rescue crews were able to locate Ibrahim deceased in the Little Si hiking area near North Bend on August 29, 2023. No foul play is suspected; however, the investigation is ongoing.  

Since Ibrahim went missing, multiple agencies assisted in the search, including those with aerial and rough terrain capabilities. The Snoqualmie Police Department would like to thank the King County Sheriff’s Office, the Issaquah Police Department, King County Mountain Rescue, King County Prosecutor’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigations, and the many citizen groups who assisted in the search for Ibrahim.  

The Snoqualmie Police Department extends their deepest condolences to the Ibrahim Family.
