At the July 18, 2023 North Bend City Council meeting, Mayor McFarland regretfully accepted the resignation of Councilmember Ross Loudenback, which became effective August 31, 2023. Mayor McFarland and fellow councilmembers commended Councilmember Loudenback for 18 years of exemplary service to the citizens of North Bend.
“Ross has been a consistent, strong advocate for economic opportunity and public safety throughout nearly two decades of service on City Council,” commented Mayor McFarland. “We are thankful for your commitment, compassion, and dedicated service to our community.”
“It has been a privilege and an honor to serve the people of North Bend. I look forward to participating from the other side of the podium,” commented Councilmember Loudenback.
In October 2023, the City will issue a notice seeking applicants to fill the vacated Council Position No. 4. It is at that time that the City will begin accepting applications. For additional information, please contact City Clerk Susie Oppedal, at (425) 888-7627.
