The North Bend Downtown Foundation invites you to join in on the ever-heartwarming, outdoor old-fashioned festival and tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, December 2. In addition to the official tree lighting ceremony with Mayor Pro Tem Heather Koellen, activities will include fireside s’mores, festive glow bracelets, hot cocoa, local live entertainment emceed by Councilmember Mary Miller, complimentary photos with Santa, and crafting with local nonprofit organizations.
To safely accommodate everyone, the City of North Bend will be closing a few blocks of the downtown historic area.
Road Closure
A portion of North Bend Way and Main Avenue will be temporarily closed on December 2: North Bend Way, between Bendigo Boulevard and Ballarat Avenue, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Main Avenue, between East McClellan Street and 107 Main Avenue North, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Public Restrooms
During the event, public restrooms will be available at the North Bend Train Depot, located at 205 E McClellan Street.
Parking
There will be no paid parking or shuttle service. Please be cautious of people walking throughout Downtown North Bend. Free, public parking can be found at:
- Park and Ride located on the south side of W. North Bend Way and Sydney
- Park and Ride located on E North Bend Way, in front of the Park Street roundabout
- Angle parking on 2nd Street and some gravel parking
- ADA Parking is available near the corner of Main Avenue and 2nd Street, as well as the above-noted Park and Rides.
