On Thursday, January 4, Public Works crews will be repairing a portion of the Cedar Falls Way crosswalk, located near Stilson Avenue.
Drivers can expect intermittent road closure on the westbound lane of Cedar Falls Way between 436th Avenue SE and Stilson Avenue beginning at 9 a.m. as crews remove a damaged pole. Traffic delays will be temporary, with one road closure beginning at approximately 9 a.m., likely lasting less than one hour, and one more occurring later in the afternoon for a reinstallation of the pole. Timing for the reinstallation is dependent upon repair needs.
Drivers can expect to see clearly displayed detour signage in the area, redirecting traffic through North Bend Way, with local access guided through the eastbound lane of Cedar Falls Way.
The City apologizes for any inconveniences caused by this project and thanks residents for their patience as crews work to repair the Cedar Falls Way crosswalk. Community members with comments or questions can contact Tom Mohr, PE, Deputy Public Works Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
