Power Outage Planned for Saturday, May 25 Near Cedar Landing Development Project

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) has rescheduled a previously planned power outage that will impact electric service for residences near the new Cedar Landing subdivision being built by Quadrant. The outage will take place on Saturday, May 25th between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
PSE electric crews have been relocating a portion of the existing overhead electric system to underground along 432nd Avenue SE. They are now ready to energize the newly installed system. Due to the complexity of the work, it will require a power outage to ensure the safety of PSE crews and the public.

Affected areas include portions of 428th Avenue SE, 432nd Avenue SE, SE 134th CT, SE 134th Place, SE 134th St, SE 137th Place and Stilson Avenue SE.
Please see the attached map of the anticipated outage area to see if you will be affected.

Planned Power Outage Affected Area

As soon as PSE finishes construction, power will return automatically. Traffic control signs and flaggers will guide vehicles and pedestrians safely through work zones during the outage.

We understand being without power is a significant inconvenience and PSE crews will work as quickly as possible to restore power.
Please visit for more information on how to prepare for a planned outage.

For questions or concerns about PSE’s portion of this project, please contact Josh Grenner, Project Manager for Puget Sound Energy, at 425-457-4542 or email Reference project number 101098200.
