Upcoming Travel Impacts for I-90

I-90 Construction Schedule


Washington State Department of Transportation implements a westbound detour starting next Wednesday, June 6, which will split the westbound lanes from the summit of Snoqualmie Pass down to the Denny Creek area. Due to this detour, the eastbound lanes will be reduced to two lanes from North Bend to the summit 24/7 until mid-August until they the project is complete. This will cause delays and back-ups for drivers headed eastbound on Fridays and congestion and back-ups westbound on Sundays. Below is the schedule.
 
I-90 – North Bend to Snoqualmie Pass East - Construction Schedule

North Bend Vicinity (mileposts 34 to 52)

Friday, June 1 – Sunday, June 10 – Drivers will experience delays due to 24 hour lane closures eastbound between North Bend milepost 34 to the summit of Snoqualmie Pass milepost 52.

Wednesday, June 6 – Starting Wednesday the westbound lanes from the summit of Snoqualmie Pass milepost 52 to the Denny Creek area milepost 47 will be reduced to two lanes with one lane shifted around the work zones to repair several bridge decks. These lane closures will be in place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until mid-August.

Snoqualmie Pass Vicinity (mileposts 52 to 67)

Monday, June 4 – Saturday, June 9 – The eastbound and westbound lanes will be reduced to a single lane at night from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. Drivers may experience minor delays.
Easton Vicinity (mileposts 68 to 69)

Monday, June 4 – Thursday, June 7 - Lane closures westbound for maintenance work along the roadway between 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cle Elum Vicinity (mileposts 68 to 69)

Monday, June 4 – Maintenance crews will be making repairs to the roadway, which will require a lane closure eastbound between 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Monday, June 4 – Thursday, June 7 – Maintenance crews will be making repairs to the interchange at Exit 84 and 85 during the week from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drivers may experience minor delays.
