The City of North Bend is seeking
nominations for the 2018 Citizen of the Year Award.
The Citizen of the Year is an individual or business that has gone above and beyond to make North Bend a better place to live, through professional or volunteer efforts, or by an extraordinary contribution to the community.
“We want to honor those who have
shown, through their initiative and actions, that they truly care about the
community,” said Mayor Ken Hearing.
The prestigious award is awarded
annually to people and businesses whose hard work, spirit and dedication make
our community great. This year’s winner
will be announced at a Council Meeting in the new year.
To make a nomination, send a letter detailing what the person or business has done for the community and why they deserve the award by Friday, December 21st, 2018. Please include daytime telephone numbers for yourself and the nominee.
Nominations should be directed to
the attention of City Administrator Londi Lindell. They can be sent by email to
firstname.lastname@example.org, by regular mail to City of North Bend, P.O. Box 896,
211 Main Ave. N., North Bend, WA 98045; or dropped off in person at City Hall.
