Puget Sound Energy and Pro-Grade
Construction, in conjunction with the Chinook Lumber commercial project, will
be constructing a project electrical conduit crossing from the west side of the
436th/Cedar Falls Way intersection east to the project site beginning Tuesday,
January 29th. Construction is
anticipated to last 1-2 days; however, this work may be shifted depending on
weather and scheduling considerations.
During this time, a partial road
closure resulting in one-lane alternating traffic, will be maintained during
weekday working hours. Residents should expect delays while the work is
underway. Appropriate detour signage and
traffic flaggers will be present to assist with traffic and pedestrian safety. Flaggers
will be at the ends of construction limits on 436th in addition to eastbound
approaching traffic on Cedar Falls Way. Since shoulder width may be limited
during this construction, pedestrians are encouraged to detour to SE 432nd and
SE North Bend Way if traveling north on 436th or SE 432nd to SE 134th/136th if
traveling south.
Please note, due to the confined
work area, the road may be temporarily closed to move construction equipment
and materials. During evenings and
weekend, the road will be open with steel plates covering the trenches and work
area.
