Republic Services and City Set Up Trash Dropoff For North Bend Customers

Republic Services has announced a recovery plan for missed garbage pickups around the region. In partnership with City of North Bend, temporary dropboxes will be placed at Torguson Park from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 16th and Sunday, February 17th.

The large blue containers will allow North Bend residents to drop off excess garbage that has accumulated over the past few weeks. Due to limited space, the bins are for garbage only. No recycling or other items, such as furniture and appliances will be accepted.

The service is free, however residents must bring a photo ID and a copy of their Republic Services bill with a corresponding name to prove residency. Each Republic Services customer will be limited to six 35-gallon bags, which is approximately two times the volume for the largest bin offered to residential customers.

Torguson Park is located at 750 East North Bend Way, North Bend.

For additional information or questions, please call Republic Services at 425-392-6651.
