SE Tanner Road / North Bend Way Realignment Construction to Begin July 12th

Construction is slated to begin Friday, July 12th on the SE Tanner Road / North Bend Way Intersection realignment project. The improvements will consist of realigning the intersection from 45 degrees to 90 degrees resulting in a safer intersection by reducing difficult turning movements for vehicles entering and exiting Tanner Road and increasing sight distance.

Additionally, the project will consist of adding pavement width and an asphalt walkway along Tanner Road between North Bend Way and the Toll Brother’s Cascade Canyon subdivision project. Once completed, residents along Tanner Road will have a delineated walkway starting at the SE Tanner Road / North Bend Way intersection and ending at the entrance to the River Glen Estates.

The project is anticipated to be completed in mid-September. One lane will remain open during day-time construction hours with posted flaggers alternating traffic to ensure that residents, services and emergency services have access to the homes located along SE Tanner Road and within the River Glen Estates neighborhood.

If you have any questions about the project, please contact Michael Sippo, Public Works Project Manager at 425-888-7664 or email msippo@northbendwa.gov.
