Visitor Information Center & Mountain View Art Gallery to Close its Doors September 8th

After much deliberation, the City has decided to close the Visitor Information Center & Mountain View Art Gallery in its existing location in order to pursue alternative options for providing tourism related activities.  The goal continues to be to reach more visitors in a cost-effective way. The last day the VIC will be open at the existing location will be Sunday, September 8th.

“We would like to thank everyone, especially local artists who have shared and enjoyed the art at the North Bend Visitor Information Center and Mountain View Art Gallery,” Bre Keveren, Special Events Coordinator and VIC Coordinator said. “It is enjoyed by travelers from all over the globe and local visitors and we certainly appreciate working with you all and look forward to connecting with you in the next form our visitor information takes.”

Council and staff are pursuing other ways to invest in tourism and support the arts that will enhance our interactions between visitors and citizens. The City is committed to continuing to invest in tourism and support local artists and looks forward to continuing great relationships with local businesses, tourists and citizens.
