Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank Executive Director Nikki Lloyd will give a presentation on the food bank during lunch at Mt. Si Senior Center, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday Aug. 26. The Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank is available to local residents not only for food assistance, but also for information on other forms of assistance available.
Seniors often live on fixed incomes and may struggle to meet all their needs with the high cost of living today. The food bank can help.
Lloyd will discuss the food bank’s mission and its programs, which include a seniors-only distribution period every Monday morning, and will explain how seniors can get signed up for the food bank and other services.
