Park Street Roundabout Construction in Full Swing; Expected Completion End of October

Construction on the Park Street – North Bend Way Roundabout began in June and is progressing as planned with an expected completion date in late October.

The new water main, joint utility trench and storm system has been installed and the contractor is working on prepping, forming, and installing curb, gutter and sidewalk. This work will continue for the next few weeks as weather allows.

As a reminder, businesses along the construction zone will remain open during construction. Residents and visitors are encouraged to support downtown businesses during construction. We also ask drivers to be courteous and patient of others attempting to pull into and out of business driveways. As an alternative, QFC plaza shoppers are encouraged to use the entrance off of Downing Avenue North.

Two lanes will remain open during the construction for traffic flow. When completed, this roundabout will improve public safety and reduce traffic congestion.

If you have any questions about the project, please contact Tom Mohr,  Interim Public Works Director at 425-888-7653 or email
