King County, as a service provider to the King County Flood Control District, has prepared a draft Capital Investment Strategy to reduce risks from flooding and channel migration hazards along the lower four miles of the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River. A community meeting to share the draft Capital Investment Strategy and get community feedback was scheduled for Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sallal Grange in North Bend.
Due to the winter weather and concerns regarding potentially challenging driving conditions for attendees, the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River Capital Investment Strategy Community Meeting planned for January 14, is postponed. The meeting will be rescheduled for a future date.
