Mayor Miller is proud to proclaim April 28 through May 4 as Small Business Week in North Bend. Small businesses are the foundation of our economy, and the glue that holds our community together. They create jobs, bolster our local economy and foster the character of North Bend.
Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has proclaimed National Small Business Week at around this time to highlight the programs and services available to entrepreneurs through the US Small Business Administration and other government agencies.
North Bend’s local businesses are one of our community’s greatest strengths, supporting residents and visitors and fostering innovation, community building and inspiration for future entrepreneurs. The City of North Bend supports and joins this national effort to recognize the contributions of small businesses to the local and American economy and their importance in ensuring that our community remains as vibrant tomorrow as it is today.
