In honor of Earth Day, the North Bend Downtown Foundation (NBDF) and the City of North Bend invite community members to join in on North Bend Beautification Day on Tuesday, April 22!
This local service event invites residents, councilmembers, city staff and local businesses to meet up with the NBDF at the North Bend Train Depot beginning at 10:30 a.m. Mayor Mary Miller will open the event with an Earth Day proclamation!
Following the proclamation, grab some garbage pick-up supplies kindly provided by the NBDF, then team up and spread out to pick up trash throughout North Bend.
Please gather at the Train Depot, located at 205 McClellan Street, at 10:30 a.m. to collect tools and talk about pickup with Recology, then clean up with us until 12 p.m. Also, please feel free also to take this opportunity as an independent event, with no time constraints! If you choose to join in on your own time, simply head out into your neighborhood or to your favorite park, river spot, or another public area that you think needs extra care – and help tidy up our city.
