[ARCHIVED] Two opportunities to help residents tidy up property and home this weekend

Yard Waste, Shred-It

The City of North Bend is hosting two free events on Saturday, October 11, with an opportunity to recycle yard waste and shred unneeded paper documents. Read on for information about both events, open to North Bend residents and property owners.

Yard Waste Recycling: 8 – 12 p.m. at the Public Works building (1155 E North Bend Way) 

This event accepts grass clippings, leaves, weeds, branches and limbs up 3 inches in diameter and up to 3 feet long. We cannot accept large branches, sod or dirt, rocks, concrete, or asphalt, wood or stumps, trash or construction debris, manure or plastic bags.

Reminder: Please enter Public Works via North Bend Way only!

Shred-it event: 8 – 12 p.m. at City Hall (920 SE Cedar Falls Way) 

This event accepts paper documents in need of disposal. Residents are invited to bring up to two file boxes or three grocery bags to City Hall for safe and secure shredding.  

We cannot accept stiff metal, plastic bags or DVDS.
