[ARCHIVED] Garbage Drop-off Cancelled at Torguson Park for Republic Services Customers

news release image

UDPATE: The collection containers at Torguson Park are full. Please do NOT bring any more garbage to this location. Republic Services has been notified and will attempt to collect the containers on Monday, January 3, 2022. Thank you for your understanding and help.

*****************************************************************************************

In response to this week's winter storm and the multiple days of missed garbage and recycling collections, the City requested Republic Services provide large collection containers at Torguson Park for residential customers who may need to drop materials.

As of December 30th, the first of the two requested garbage containers is available at Torguson Park, located at 750 E. North Bend Way. Residents may drive into the park and deposit materials as weather and driving conditions allow.

For customers who were missed this week and do not wish to bring materials to the Torguson Park collection spot, there is also the option to put out double amounts - at no additional cost -  on your next scheduled garbage/recycling collection day.

The City thanks residents for their patience during this ongoing winter weather event.
