[ARCHIVED] It's Building Safety Month in North Bend!

Building Safety Month_web

Mayor Miller is proud to proclaim May as Building Safety Month in North Bend. Building Safety Month is an international campaign sponsored by the International Code Council (ICC) and supported by the City of North Bend.

Building resiliency is achieved through the devotion of many professionals: laborers, plumbers, building safety and fire prevention officials, architects, engineers, builders, tradespeople, designers, and others who devote their careers to ensuring the safe construction of the structures that house our community.

The 2024 theme for Building Safety Month is “Mission Possible.” It encourages us all to raise awareness about building safety on a personal, local and global scale.

This campaign reinforces the need for the adoption of modern, regularly updated building codes, and helps individuals, families and businesses understand what it takes to create safe and sustainable structures. Learn more about Building Safety Month by visiting the City’s Building Department webpage, at www.northbendwa.gov/374/Building-Safety-Month-2024.
