On Friday, May 24, Tennant Trailhead Park will close to the public as crews work to install a permanent restroom building at the entrance to the park. Both the parking area and the trail system will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Located at 12201 West Ribary Way, the new city park provides a network of family-focused mountain biking and hiking trails that are easy and short enough for beginners, yet provide progression, and through a future connection to Rattlesnake Mountain Scenic Area and Raging River State Forest, access to more advanced trail experiences. These new trails are a welcome addition to the local inventory, and best of all, reachable on foot or on a bike from many local neighborhoods.
Thank you for your patience as we complete this important park improvement, just in time for Memorial Day weekend! Learn more about Tennant Trailhead Park by visiting https://www.siviewpark.org/tennant.phtml.
