[ARCHIVED] Local, historic festival brings North Bend three days of community-filled fun, beginning August 9

Festival at Mt Si

The Festival at Mt. Si is returning to North Bend on Friday, August 9 through Sunday, August 11. Festival activities include the Grand Parade, the 5k Fun Run, live music, a vendor fair, fireworks show, traditional community contests and, new to the festival, the Downtown Music Crawl.  

City streets will remain open during the Downtown Music Crawl on Friday, August 9 from 6 p.m. to midnight. Participants will utilize sidewalks and crosswalks as they walk to each venue downtown along North Bend Way.

To accommodate the Grand Parade, the following street will be closed, with no through-traffic, on Saturday, August 10, from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.:

  • North Bend Way, from Torguson Park to Bendigo Boulevard

The Festival at Mt. Si will be at Si View Park, located at 440 SE Orchard Pl. To accommodate the festival, the following street will be closed, with local access only and no through-traffic, from Saturday, August 10, starting at 7:00 a.m. through Sunday, August 11, ending at 7:00 p.m.:

  • Healy Avenue S/SE Orchard Dr, from Stow Avenue S to North Bend Way

The Festival at Mt. Si has been a Snoqualmie Valley tradition since 1947, and, since 1999, it has been fully funded by community donations and coordinated by a local nonprofit, the North Bend Educational and Cultural Association (NBECA).
