The City of North Bend and project partners invite residents to attend an upcoming workshop that will review and gather feedback to enhance and potentially transform a portion of roadway on Ballarat Avenue. Located near the North Bend Train Depot, between the North Bend Bar and Grill (145 E North Bend Way) and the North Bend Shell Station (225 E North Bend Way), the Ballarat Plaza Workshop will present conceptual plans that could transform this roadway into a landscaped gathering plaza area.
Join them at the North Bend City Hall on Wednesday, February 26, from 7 to 8 p.m.
City staff and the City’s consultant on the project, Site Workshop, look forward to sharing a variety of concepts, including:
- Pavers
- Mountain viewing, with a permanent telescope installation
- Landscaping
- Vegetated screening from vehicles on North Bend Way
- Pedestrian lighting
- Fixed seating
- Mobile seating
- Water feature
- Small community stage
