Mayor Mary Miller is proud to proclaim September as Senior Center Month in North Bend. The city recognizes the Mt. Si Senior Center’s ongoing work to affirm the dignity, self-worth and independence of older people by facilitating their decisions and actions, while tapping into their experiences, skills and knowledge which, in turn, enables their continued contributions to our community.
Older Americans are significant members of our society, investing their wisdom and experience for the betterment of people of all ages. Mt. Si Senior Center offers a wide array of services, programs and activities that support and empower older citizens to get involved in local activities and make valuable new connections.
Mayor Miller encourages all citizens to recognize the special contributions of senior center participants and the efforts of the staff and volunteers who work every day to enhance the well-being of these members of our community.
