About the Park
Torguson Park is the city’s principal active recreation park. This 17.3-acre facility consists of six ball fields, a soccer field, restrooms, an 8,100 square foot skateboard park, picnic facilities, bike racks, informal BMX dirt bike track, tot lot, climbing tower, and a parking lot for 190 vehicles. The sports fields are used for league play from March through November.

Torguson Pump Track

A 35,000 square foot bike park located on the southwest side of Torguson Park is an all-ages, all-abilities track, with features that both advanced and novice riders can enjoy together. A separate Striders track offers a safe environment for young children who are still learning how to ride where parents can walk along and help. The pump track is open to riders on non-motorized bicycles only. E-bikes are not allowed. The lights are operational from dusk to 8 p.m, Sunday through Thursday and from dusk to 9 p.m. Friday through Saturday.

Effective January 1, 2016, maintenance and programming of the park is being scheduled by Si View Metropolitan Park District.  To reserve a field, schedule an event, or check ball field status please contact Si View Metropolitan Park District at (425) 831-1900 or visit them at Si View Metro Parks.

Heavy Traffic & Use

Torguson Park is a very popular and heavily used facility. The 2010 Torguson Park Master Plan and associated Site Plan will guide further development of this park, including a planned picnic shelter, plaza area, paved trail system, and landscaping.  In addition, the city is currently planning improvements to the ball field quad area to include a new ball field plaza with a restroom/concession building and new backstop fencing.
