2021 International wildland-urban Interface Code Delayed until further notice
An Emergency Rule was adopted by the State Building Code Council to delay the implementation of this code until further notice. For more information, please refer to the State Building Code Council website.
Per WAC 51.55 the State Building Code Council was mandated to adopt the 2021 International Wildland-Urban Interface Code with amendments in all counties and cities of the state on March 15, 2024

The locations required to comply with this new code are identified on the Washington State's Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) Map prepared by the Department of Natural Resources.
The City of North Bend and much of the surrounding areas are within the areas effected by this new code.
